For this assignment in Tunbridge Wells, Buss Murton Law LLP asked for some portraits of two of their solicitors on location in the town. Rather than have the standard white background, the aim was to utilise some of the innate beauty of the town and thus the photos more personal. We picked the stunning Pantiles area along with a part of the Common near The Mount Edgco[...]
I first met Liz in early 2014 when she came to my studio in Tunbridge Wells for profile photos for her new website and for use on social media. When she contacted me again for a new photo, I couldn't believe how fast those years had gone. It was lovely to see her again and I'm very pleased to hear her business is going well. Some words of feedback: "Parkershots[...]
Terrablu is a Tunbridge Wells based company, established in 2002 to support older people with care needs and adults with a disability to remain independent in the comfort of their own homes. They serve Tunbridge Wells and Tonbridge, as well as surrounding areas. I've worked with them many times over the years and have always been impressed by how friendly & caring[...]
It's always nice showing off a finished product, & I could easily see why Carlos Elsesser from AAC Architects wanted this house photographed. The rooms are stunning and the client was extremely pleased with the result. The main lounge is so spacious & bright, and the exposed beams provide a beautiful & stylish feature. “We asked Ni[...]
It's always lovely working with fellow creatives and this was no exception. Nicky Percival & Lucy Rebello - the talented interior design due behind 'Lulu & Sherbert', asked me to come & photograph a finished room they had worked on, taking some wide & detail shots, and then one of their design working area. Every bit of decor & item displayed was c[...]
I had a lot of fun working with the team of Flowers at Colonnade. They are all such lovely people and a real joy to be around. I'm also a big fan of their floral creations having seen them at weddings, and whenever I've been passing their shop in town. Sharon asked me to take some portraits of the staff, photograph the premises, and take some photos of both the real a[...]
When Grovewood Wealth moved to Eridge, they wanted some photographs of the new offices and surroundings. They could then use these images on their website and in printed marketing material. I'm sure you'll understand the desire to show this off when you see what a beautiful location it is. There was also three staff members that hadn't been photographed before, so a g[...]
After working with Marc Pacifico previously, I was very pleased to be asked by him to visit the private clinic of Purity Bridge in Tunbridge Wells to take some photos of some of the rooms. They all looked great already, so with just a few minor tweaks to the layout, & a bit of rearranging to aid the composition, I was all set.
I have to admit that this was one of my favourite ever jobs. Purple Pumpkin, an incredible catering company in Tunbridge Wells asked me to photograph a selection of the meals they can serve at weddings & other functions. I love my job anyway, but I also love food, and after I had photographed the dishes, I was allowed to try them. I probably ate far more than I ne[...]
It was good to be back again working with Mus & Natalie from The Studio Hair salon in Tunbridge Wells. I joined them at their salon and was tasked with photographing models displaying the hair-styles created by Mus. Mus had given the models incredible colours and a style that worked perfectly for each model and was accentuated by the haircut. The man is a genius. [...]
This was my first time working for The National Trust and what an interesting assignment it was. Local National Trust property, 'Chartwell', was hosting the BBC Radio 4 programme 'Any Questions?' whilst on the same day there was a special preview of Chartwell's latest exhibition 'Gift of Power.' I was asked to photograph guests enjoying the special exhibition preview,[...]
It was great to be back working with the team at Remedy Creative again - this time a visit to their new offices in Tunbridge Wells. Jonathan and Lisa wanted some less formal pictures of each team member along with a group shot. I do like it when clients want something a little different for the staff portrait photos.
