WS Smithers & Sons are building contractors based in Cowden. They were established over 60 years ago and have had 3 generations of the family building under the brand. They asked me to photograph a beautiful barn conversion project. Colin Smithers talked me through the work they had done there and I regret that I hadn’t been there to photograph the site before they started as the transformation is incredible.
